8.1 Module weights

WARNING

Attach individual parts and a larger component module carefully to suitable hoists/lifting devices which are in technically perfect condition and which have adequate load-bearing capacity.
Turbocharger parts that are not suspended in accordance with the regulations during disassembly and assembly may fall and can cause serious or even fatal injury.
- Select a suitable rope taking into account the weight of the turbocharger
parts.
- Cross and loop the rope over the crane hook
- Do not stand under suspended loads.

WARNING

For the safety of loads on the crane hook, the ropes must be suspended crossed over each other. See also previous illustration.
