Description
The lube oil drawn oil from the sump by means of LO pump. Then force them through the cooler, filter, pressure regulating valve to the oil gallery locate at the exhaust side of the eingine.A feed line leds the oil to the crankshaft main bearing. From the oil gallery a brunch line leds the oil to the bores for the main bearing bolts in the crankcase. The oil escapes from the overflow line in the upper sector of the crankcase and run into the crankcase. Oil enters in the main bearing through the oblige channel in the crankshaft, from the main bearing to the bigend bearing. From here it runs through the channel to the connecting rod ,piston pin bearing and to the cooling chamber of the piston. From each piston LO runs dwon to the crankcase through bores.
The header duct is located in the camshaft through which brunches from the oil gallery lead off the brunch to the camshaft bearing. Also to the shaft bearing and to the bearing for the rocker arm in the cylinder head. The oil flows through bores in the eccentric shaft from eccentric shaft bearing to the rocker leaver. The drive taped for the injection pumps are also lubricated by means of short brunch lines from the header duct.
The oil leaving the rockerarm collected respective cylinder head.Returns to the crankcase by push-rod protective line.
A brunch also leads to the turbocharger. With the aid of orifice and pressure control valve the LO pressure for the turbocharger is reduced.
The governor is provided its own lubricating circuit.
