is very much important for proper combustion of the fuel. A regular fuel
injection pump plunger stroke height or lift measurement is necessary
to achieve proper combustion.
Every time after replacement or
overhauling fuel injection pump it is impotent to measure and adjust
fuel injection pump plunger stroke height or lift.
Injection timing is measured by dial
indicator when the pump plunger stroke at TDC and Advanced from TDC (Fly
wheel mark) ie, fuel injection pump plunger free and pushed with cam
lobe.

At first remove the cam cover.
