4.1.3 Servicing work according to the engine manufacturer's instructions

Oil filters
·         With the engine at standstill clean or replace oil filters

4.1.4 Servicing work every 10,000 hours

·    It is recommended to inspect the turbocharger once a year, but at least after every 10,000 service hours.
·         Dismantle the turbocharger
·         Clearance measurement
·         Clean turbine- and compressor casings and check for any cracks and erosion / corrosion.
·         Clean bearing casing, blow through oil ports
·         Inspection and assessment of the VTG unit
·         Inspection and assessment of the rotor and bearing parts
 
NOTE

The inspection and assessment of the rotor, the bearing parts and the VTG unit must be performed by an official service station of ABB Turbo Systems.


4.1.5 Servicing work every 30,000 hours

·         Dismantle the turbocharger
·         Clearance measurement
·         Clean turbine- and compressor casings and check for any cracks and erosion / corrosion.
·         Clean bearing casing, blow through oil ports
·         Inspection and assessment of the rotor and bearing parts
·     Replacement of the plain bearing and the VTG unit with original parts from ABB Turbo Systems

NOTE

The replacement of the plain bearing and the VTG unit as well as the inspection and assessment of the rotor must be performed by an official service station of ABB Turbo Systems.
